  • User Scenarios are the stories that your personas act out
  • They show how you predict how certain types of personas will interact with your website/interactive in a given situation in order to complete a given goal
  • They wull convey what future users will look for when trying to complete tasks on your website
  • They are used to test site structure before its developed and to isolate problems before they become bigger and harder to fix
  • User Scenarios should outline: Who, What, When, Where, Why and How
  • User Scenarios help to guide the designer to create a website that is appropriate and functional for your target audience

Reflection

This lecture pod clarified to me how important it is to develop a user scenario. They help the designer to understand their target audience and how to design for them. Thus through this lecture pod and studio/class activities where user scenarios were explained and I have used them in my interatcive project, I have come to the idea that I want to use them more in my design process as they greatly help and guide me to create and make something that is appropriate for my chosen target audience.
